Taco ’bout a Great Year! An End of the Year Fiesta!

Taco ’bout a GREAT Year! It’s crazy how fast this year went by!!! My co-teacher and I were looking up ideas for our end of the year celebration and we saw the cutest taco birthday party picture, and we just knew that had to be our theme! How could a fiesta not be the perfect way to end a NACHO AVERAGE year!

As soon as we had our theme, I knew the next thing to do was start planning! I immediately visited Oriental Trading to look up all things FIESTA FUN!

 How ADORABLE are these Fiesta Inflatables!?

Oriental Trading had the most perfect decorations to make sure our party was absolutely perfect! We started by decorating these super fun DIY Sombreros to wear during our party!

One more thing we did before the party started was complete this fun {Taco ’bout a Great Year} craft and writing activity for all our families to read! We started by brainstorming all the fun memories we had from this school year! Students wrote down their favorite memory on a post-it and then we discussed them all as a class! It was so much fun to go down memory lane and it amazed me what they remembered! 
Then, students finished the craft and writing activity to leave on their desks when their families came for the party!

One of the biggest hits at our party were these  fiesta themed props for our photo booth! I had my husband build this photo booth for me last year to use during our Kids Choice Awards and it’s been perfect! 

How adorable is this Giant Inflatable Cactus that we used in the photo booth!? It may not have been fun to blow up, but it was sure worth it!!!! 

Another favorite was the Nacho Bar! We had all the toppings for our students and families to make their own nachos! The blow up fiesta inflatables were the perfect decorations for our nacho bar (and around the classroom)!
